Multi-use amplifier using discrete transistors – a simple project that a student in electronics can try

Used transistors: KSC340, TIP41C, TIP42C2N5551, BC558
Click on the schematic to magnify
All the components are easily available at most of the electronic spare part market.  The components are not costly too. When you select the mains transformer, go for a good quality one, which determines the quality of sound from the amplifier.  If you use a Torroidal type transformer, will be better.  Even though it will cost more, it will give good results.
Select a transformer having not less than 3Amps secondary current.
The power transistors should be fitted on suitable heat-sink to prevent overheating.  Use of heat-sink compound is highly recommended.
Keep all the inter-connection wires as short as possible.  Use a metal cabin to assemble this amplifier.
The amplifier can be used with multi signal inputs.  You can note it by its input board sockets.
It will be best to use a high-capacity main filter capacitor.  5000MFD 60V will be better.
Come on.  Go with the circuit first, and then start your first amplifier project.

When to replace the lamp unit
1. The lamp unit is a consumable component. Since its brightness gradually decreases over time, it is necessary to replace it regularly. The estimated duration before replacement is 3 000 hours.
However, this may be shortened depending on individual lamp characteristics, usage conditions, and the installation environment. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that a replacement lamp unit be prepared.
2. To predict when to replace the lamp, check the lamp cumulative operating hours displayed in lamp1-4 of "STATUS".
3. The unit can damage the projector if it has not been replaced after 3 000 hours of usage.
Thus, the lamp automatically turns off after approximately ten minutes. If the cumulative operating time of all 4 lamp unit bulbs exceeds 3 000 hours, the power will be switch off after about 10 minutes.
Replacement procedure for lamp unit
1. Power off the projector and disconnect the power plug from the power outlet.
And wait at least one hour, and then check if the lamp unit has been cooled down.
2. Loosen the lamp unit cover fixing screw (one screw) until it turns freely, and then open the lamp unit cover in the direction of the arrow.
A.Open a little
B.Slide it in the direction of the arrow, and then pull it out backward to remove.
3. Loosen the lamp case fixing screws (two screws each) until they turns freely, and then hold the lamp case handles, pull out backward.
4. Loosen the lamp unit fixing screws (two screws each) until they turns freely, and then pull out the lamp unit from the projector.
5. Install the Lamp units and reverse the disassembly procedures, install the rear cover.
#Projector does not turn on by protection circuit, if Lamp unit or rear cover are incompletely-installed.
#If the lamp unit or lamp case is not installed properly, remove it and then gently install it again.
Pushing it in forcibly or exerting excessive force may break the connector.
# When you place the new lamp unit, the projector resets the total usage time of the lamp unit automatically.
Attention
When you loosen the lamp case fixing screws with the projector installed upward in the vertical direction, the lamp case may drop off on its weight
Be sure to hold the lamp case handle when you loosen the lamp case fixing screws.
Initialization for control device password
To revert to the factory default password (AAAA), perform the following operations while the screen asking for a control device password input is displayed.
1. Press the <AUTO SETUP> button on the remote control or control panel for at least two seconds.
2. Press DOWN ARROW  for at least two seconds.

How to install dual hard drive – Apple MacBook Pro 13

Apple MacBook Pro 13
Remove the following 10 screws securing the lower case to the MacBook Pro 13" Unibody:
Seven 3 mm Phillips screws.
Three 13.5 mm Phillips screws.
Slightly lift the lower case and push it toward the rear of the computer to free the mounting tabs.
For precautionary purposes, we advise that you disconnect the battery connector from the logic board to avoid any electrical discharge. Use the flat end of a spudger to lift the battery connector up out of its socket on the logic board. For precautionary purposes, we advise that you disconnect the subwoofer connector from the logic board to avoid any electrical discharge. This step is optional
and is not required. Remove the soft padding that may be on top and gently pull the connector up out of its socket on the logic board.
It will be necessary to slide the small clear plastic cable retainer (boxed in red) glued to the logic board out of the way before disconnecting the camera cable. Be careful not to break any components off the board as you slide it away from the camera cable connector. Pull the camera cable connector toward the optical drive to disconnect it from the logic board. This socket is metal and easily bent. Be sure to align the connector with its socket on the logic board before mating the two pieces.
Use the flat end of a spudger to pry the optical drive connector straight up off the logic board.
Use the flat end of a spudger to pry the hard drive connector straight up off the logic board.
Remove the following screws securing the subwoofer to the upper case:
One 3.8 mm Phillips screw.
One 5 mm Phillips screw
The subwoofer is still connected to the right speaker, so don't completely remove it just yet. Lift the subwoofer off the optical drive, and set it above the computer.
Remove the two 10 mm Phillips screws securing the camera cable bracket to the upper case.
The leftmost screw may remain captive in the camera cable.
Lift the camera cable bracket out of the upper case.
Remove the three 2.5 mm Phillips screws securing the optical drive to the upper case. Lift the optical drive from its right edge and pull it out of the computer.
Remove the optical drive cable by pulling it straight away from the optical drive. This connector is particularly deep, so be sure to pull away from the drive at the center of the connector. If you have a CD or any other object jammed in your optical drive, we have an optical drive repair guide.
Remove the two black Phillips #0 screws securing the small metal mounting bracket. Transfer this bracket to your new optical drive or
hard drive enclosure.
Remove the plastic spacer from the optical bay hard drive enclosure by pressing in on one of the clips on either side and lifting it up and out of the enclosure.
Make sure that the hard drive connectors are facing down before placing it into the enclosure. Gently place the hard drive into the enclosure's hard drive slot. While firmly holding the enclosure in place with one hand, use your other hand to press the hard drive into the enclosure connectors.
Once the hard drive is snug, reinsert the plastic spacer while holding the hard drive against the bottom of the enclosure.
Use two Phillips #1 screws to secure the drive to its enclosure.
Attach the optical drive bracket to the new enclosure with two Phillips #0 screws. Reconnect any cables you have removed from the original optical drive onto the optical bay enclosure.
Don't ditch that drive! You can still use your optical drive externally with the help of our
SATA Optical Drive USB Cable. Align the cable's SATA connector with the drive's port and plug in securely. Plug the USB connector into your laptop and your optical drive is ready for use.
