7. Make sure that the battery pack supplies power when you turn on the computer.
If you suspect a power problem, see the appropriate one of the following power supply checkouts:
“Checking the AC adapter”
“Checking operational charging”
“Checking the battery pack”
Checking the AC adapter
You are here because the computer fails only when the AC adapter is used.
If the power-on indicator does not turn on, check the power cord of the AC adapter for correct continuity and installation.
To check the AC adapter, follow the steps below:
1. Unplug the AC adapter cable from the computer.
2. Measure the output voltage at the plug of the AC adapter cable. See the following figure:
Note: Output voltage for the AC adapter pin No. 2 may differ from the one you are servicing.
3. If the voltage is not correct, replace the AC adapter.
4. If the voltage is acceptable, do the following:
Replace the system board.
Note: Noise from the AC adapter does not always indicate a defect.
Checking operational charging
To check whether the battery charges properly during operation, use a discharged battery pack or a battery pack that has less than 50% of the total power remaining when installed in the computer.
Perform operational charging. If the battery status indicator or icon does not light on, remove the battery pack and let it return to room temperature. Reinstall the battery pack. If the charge indicator or icon is still off, replace the battery pack.
If the charge indicator still does not light on, replace the system board. Then reinstall the battery pack. If it is still not charged, go to the next section.
Checking the battery pack
Battery charging does not start until the Power Meter shows that less than 95% of the total power remains; under this condition the battery pack can charge to 100% of its capacity. This protects the battery pack from being overcharged or from having a shortened life.
To check your battery, move your cursor to the Power Meter icon in the icon tray of the Windows taskbar and wait for a moment (but do not click it), and the percentage of battery power remaining is displayed. To get detailed information about the battery, double-click the Power Meter icon.
Note: If the battery pack becomes hot, it may not be able to be charged. Remove it from the computer and leave it at room temperature for a while. After it cools down, reinstall and recharge it.
To check the battery pack, follow the steps below:
1. Turn off the computer.
2. Remove the battery pack and measure the voltage between battery terminals 1 (+) and 7 (-). See the following figure:
3. If the voltage is less than +11.0 V DC, the battery pack has been discharged.
Note: Recharging will be continued for at least 3 hours, even though the indicator does not light on.
If the voltage is still less than +11.0 V DC after recharging, replace the battery.
4. If the voltage is more than +11.0 V DC, measure the resistance between battery terminals 5 and 7. The resistance must be 4 to 30 KΩ.
If the resistance is not correct, replace the battery pack. If the resistance is correct, replace the system board.

Spirit Treadmill – Spirit Z9 – How to adjust the running belt – Error codes – LS – E2 – How to lubricate the running belt – Troubleshooting

Spirit Z9: Maintenance Tips
Belt and Bed
Treadmill uses a very high-efficient low-friction bed. Performance is maximized when the bed is kept as clean as possible. Use a soft, damp cloth or paper towel to wipe the edge of the belt and the area between the belt edge and frame. Also reach as far as practical directly under the belt edge. This should be done once a month to extend belt and bed life. Use water only - no cleaners or abrasives. A mild soap and water solution along with a nylon scrub brush will clean the top of the textured belt.
Belt Dust
This occurs during normal break-in or until the belt stabilizes. Wiping excess off with a damp cloth will minimize buildup.
General Cleaning
Dirt, dust, and pet hair can block air inlets and accumulate on the running belt. On a monthly basis, vacuum underneath your treadmill to prevent buildup. Once a year, you should remove the black motor hood and vacuum out dirt that may accumulate. UNPLUG POWER CORD BEFORE THIS TASK.
RUNNING BELT ADJUSTMENTS
Treadmill running belt Tension Adjustment
Belt tension is not critical for most users. It is very important for joggers and runners in order to provide a smooth, steady running surface. Adjustment must be made from the right side of the rear roller in order to adjust tension with the 6 mm Allen wrench provided in the parts package. The adjustment bolt is located at the end of the right side rail as noted in diagram below.
Tighten the rear roller only enough to prevent slippage at the front roller. Turn the treadbelt tension adjusting bolt in increments of 1/4 turn and inspect for proper tension.
When an adjustment is made to the belt tension, you must also make a tracking
adjustment to compensate for the change in belt tension. This is accomplished by turning both the tension and tracking Allen bolts an equal amount. This adjustment should be made by turning both bolts clockwise by no more than a 1/4 turn at a time.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN – Over tightening will cause belt damage and premature bearing failure.
TREADMILL RUNNING BELT TRACKING ADJUSTMENT
The performance of your treadmill is dependent on the frame running on a reasonably level surface. If the frame is not level, the front and back roller cannot run parallel, and constant belt adjustment may be necessary. The treadmill is designed to keep the treadbelt reasonably centered while in use. It is normal for some belts to drift near one side while the belt is running with no one on it. After a few minutes of use, the treadbelt should have a tendency to center itself. If, during use, the belt continues to move toward one side, adjustments are necessary.
TO SET TREADBELT TRACKING
A 6 mm Allen wrench is provided to adjust the rear roller. Make tracking adjustments from the left side only. Set belt speed at approximately 2 to 3 mph. A small adjustment can make a dramatic difference. Turn the bolt only a 1/4 turn and wait a few minutes for the belt to adjust itself. Continue to make 1/4 turns until the belt stabilizes in the center of the running deck. The belt may require periodic tracking adjustment depending on use and walking/running characteristics. Some users will affect tracking differently. Expect to make adjustments as required to center the treadbelt. Adjustments will become less of a maintenance concern as the belt is used. Proper belt tracking is an owner responsibility common with all treadmills.
BELT / DECK LUBRICATION
You should apply the enclosed belt lubrication after approximately the first 50 hours of operation. Use all the contents of one container (no more) and spread lubricant onto middle portion (away from edges) of the deck (under treadbelt) along its width. When walked on, the belt will make certain an even coat is applied. Lubricant is not harmful to the skin. Lube will be distributed properly by walking at 2 to 3 mph for 3 to 5 minutes on all areas of the belt. Use handrails for support. The first few minutes you will be polishing your deck and lubricating the belt backing. Do not run on a newly lubricated belt until the above break-in procedure is done. If the treadmill belt/deck is kept reasonably clean it is possible to expect over 1000 hours before additional re-lubing is necessary.
Troubleshooting
Display does not light
Tether cord not in position.
Circuit breaker on front grill tripped. Push circuit breaker in until it locks.
Plug is disconnected. Make sure plug is firmly pushed into AC household wall outlet.
Household circuit breaker may be tripped.
Treadmill defect.
Treadbelt does not stay centered Treadmill belt hesitates when walked/run on
A user may be walking while favoring or putting more weight on either the left or right foot. If this walking pattern is natural, track the belt slightly off-center to the side opposite from the belt movement. See Maintenance  Treadbelt Tension. Adjust as necessary.
Treadmill will only achieve approximately 7 mph but shows higher speed on display
This indicates motor should be receiving power to operate. Low AC voltage to treadmill. Do not use an extension cord. If an extension cord is required it should be as short as possible and heavy duty 16 gauge minimum. Low household voltage. A minimum of 110 volt AC current is required.
ERROR MESSAGE
LS
Treadmill doesn’t receive the speed signal for 8 seconds.
E2
Incline position error.
Err
Memory of console malfunction or accessing problem.

How to replace the I/O port Cable – Nexus 7

Nexus 7 Phone: I/O PORT CABLE REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE
In the following steps you will release the clips (highlighted in red) along the perimeter of the Nexus 7's rear panel. Do not use excessive force while prying the clips. They can be easily broken.
Gently insert a plastic opening tool near the top of the Nexus 7 between the rear panel and the front panel assembly. Carefully run the plastic opening tool along the top edge to pry the rear panel away from the front panel assembly of the Nexus 7.
Insert the plastic opening tool between the rear panel and the front panel assembly near the power button and pry up at several points along the right edge of the Nexus 7.
Pry up the rear panel along the left edge using the method described in previous steps.
Gently lift and remove the rear panel up off the front panel assembly.
Using the tip of a spudger, push first on one side then the other to "walk" the battery cable straight out of its socket on the motherboard.
Peel back the copper ESD shielding covering the bottom of the motherboard. Do not try to remove the copper shielding, as it is still attached underneath the battery. If you're just replacing the micro usb charge port, there is no need to peel back the copper heatsink like in the photo, the speaker assembly can simply be moved out of the way once unscrewed. If the speakers are to be replaced simply peel back the bottom corner to expose the speaker connection. Leave the rest of the heatsink shield alone.
Using the tip of a spudger, push the speaker cable straight out of its socket on the motherboard.
Remove the following screws securing the speaker assembly to the display assembly: Two 4.25 mm black Phillips screws
One 3.2 mm silver Phillips screw
Lift and remove the speaker assembly out of the Nexus 7.
Use the tip of a spudger to peel back the cloth tape covering the headphone jack and the I/O assembly cable. There is no need to completely remove the tape. Just peel it back enough so that the tape is only adhering to the ribbon cable and not the metal frame.
Use the tip of a spudger to flip up the retaining flap on the I/O assembly data ribbon cable ZIF socket. Be sure you are prying up on the hinged retaining flap, not the socket itself. The hinged retaining flap is the black piece which flips up easily with the spudger.
Remove the following screws securing the I/O assembly cable to the Nexus 7: Three 3.2 mm silver Phillips screws
Two 2.3 mm black Phillips screws
Without stressing the cable, and minding any tape that may still be holding the cable in place, gently lift the headphone jack up off its placement pins.
In a similar fashion, lift the micro-USB port up off its retaining pins. Lift and remove the I/O assembly cable out of the Nexus 7.

LG MICROWAVE OVEN - LCRT2010ST – How to test the microwave output power – How to test the magnetron

LG MICROWAVE OVEN - LCRT2010ST – How to test the microwave output power – How to test the magnetron – how to test the high voltage transformer – How to test the switches
HOW TO MEASURE THE MICROWAVE OUTPUT POWER
Microwave power output measurement is made with the microwave oven supplied at its rated voltage and operated at its maximum microwave power setting with a load of (1000±5) g of potable water.
# The water is contained in a cylindrical borosilicate glass vessel having a maximum material thickness of 3 mm and an outside diameter of approximately 190mm.
# The oven and the empty vessel are at ambient temperature prior to the start of the test.
# The initial temperature (T1) of the water is (10±2)°C. It is measured immediately before the water is added to the vessel. After addition of the water to the vessel, the load is immediately placed on the center of the turntable which is in thd lowest position and the microwave power switched on.
# The time T for the temperature of the water to rise by a value DeltaT of (10±2)°K is measured, where T is the time in seconds and Delta T is the temperature rise. The initial and final water temperatures are selected so that the maximum difference between the final water temperature and the ambient temperature is 5°K.
# The microwave power output P in watts is calculated from the following formula:
P = 4187 x (DeltaT) + 0.55 X (T2 - T0 ) X M/T
T2: Temperature after heating
T0: Temperature of bowl
M: Weight of bowl is measured while the microwave generator is operating at full power. Magnetron filament heat-up time is not included. (about 3 sec)
# The water is stirred to equalize temperature throughout the vessel, prior to measuring the final water temperature.
# Stirring devices and measuring instruments are selected in order to minimize addition or removal of heat.
HIGH VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER TEST
1. Measure the resistance.

PRIMARY INTERLOCK SWITCH TEST
When the door release button is depressed slowly with the door closed, an audible click should be heard at the same time or successively at intervals. When the button is released slowly, the latches should activate the switches with an audible click.
If the latches do not activate the switches when the door is closed, the switches should be a adjusted in accordance with the adjustment procedure. Disconnect the wire lead from the primary switch. Connect the ohmmeter leads to the common (COM) and normally open (NO) terminal of the switch. The meter should indicate an open circuit in the door open condition. When the door is closed, the meter should indicate a closed circuit. When the primary switch operation is abnormal, make the necessary adjustment or replace the switch only with the same type of switch.
SECONDARY INTERLOCK SWITCH TEST
Disconnect the wire lead from the secondary switch. Connect the ohmmeter leads to the common (COM) and normally open (NO) terminals of the switch. The meter should indicate a open circuit in the door open condition. When the door is closed, meter should indicate an closed circuit. When the secondary switch operation is abnormal, make the necessary adjustment or replace the switch only with the same type of switch.
MONITOR SWITCH TEST
Disconnect the wire lead from the monitor switch. Connect the ohmmeter leads to the common (COM) and normally closed (NC) terminals of the switch. The meter should indicate closed circuit in the door open condition. When the door is closed, meter should indicate an open circuit. When the monitor switch operation is abnormal, replace with the same type of switch.
NOTE: After repairing the door or the interlock system, it is necessary to do this continuity test before operating the oven.
