Remove back cover and battery.

Using a T6 precision screwdriver, remove the 4 screws. Flip open the phone and keep the back cover facing you.

With the phone open, take the plastic opening tool and run it between the phone case and phone body to loosen the key pad. Note: There are two clamps that lock it to the phone case (one on each side).

Flip the phone over and lift straight up on the key pad to remove it. Be sure to hold the phone flat (parallel to the table) because there are loose parts that may fall out.

Use the i Pod opening tool to remove the 2 ribbon wires (boxed in the photo) from the logic board.

Gently lift the back of the logic board and then pull outwards. Be careful not to rip the ribbon wire.

If the parts are loose you can remove the black sim card reader and green vibrator before continuing, otherwise they may fall out.

Close the phone, flip it over, grab the remaining gray covering of the phone and pull it straight up to remove it. There is another piece below this which will break if you don't pull straight up. Once the cover is removed take off the black piece underneath.

Remove the face of the phone by sliding down. Unscrew the 4 screws connecting the screen to the base using a T6 Precision screwdriver.

Use ipod opening tool to pry up the edge of the remaining silver hinge cover. Once it is loose you can pull it off the rest of the way.

To remove the plastic cover on the screen, run the ipod opening tool along the sides between the cover and the body of the phone (like you did for the keyboard)and gently pry upward until it is loose. Like the keyboard there is one clamp on each side. Grab the cover at the bottom of the screen (near the hinge) and pull outward while leaving the top (near the speaker) connected. Once the bottom is pulled out far enough the top will be able to disconnect as well.

Remove the tape on the bottom of the screen so that the screen will be able to come out. There is a finger notch on the top of the screen, gently pull out halfway. Caution: the back of the screen is connected to the base of the phone. So do not pull out or the connection will be broken.

Use the iPod opening device to remove the ribbon wire where it connects to the screen.

Insert a plastic opening tool between the back cover and rear case at the lower left edge of the back cover.
Pry the back cover up with the plastic opening tool to free the plastic clips.
Continue prying along the left edge of the back cover towards the top of the phone.

Work the plastic opening tool across the top of the back case to free the plastic clips.

The top edge of the back case is very thin. Pry carefully to avoid cracking or snapping it.
Continue prying down the right side of the back cover to free the remaining clips.

Pull the back cover away from the phone to remove it.

The back cover is attached to the battery with a generous amount of adhesive, so you may
have to use quite a bit of force to separate the two pieces.
The battery must remain in the phone and not come off with the back cover or you will break the power lead.
Since the back cover is made of Kevlar, it can handle a fair amount of twisting and tugging without breaking

Use the tip of a spudger to lift up the red silicone cover over the battery terminal screws

and remove it.

Remove the two 3.3 mm T5 Torx battery terminal screws.

Grab the blue battery removal tab and lift the battery out to remove it.
There is quite a bit of adhesive securing the battery to the motherboard. Work slowly to avoid deforming the battery.Your phone will have a number of metal EMI shields on the motherboard, rather than the bare ICs seen here

Use a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the adhesive underneath the camera cover.
The following steps were performed without the use of a heat gun. Notice that the camera cover cracks very easily if you do not heat the adhesive that holds it in place.
Gently pry up the bottom edge of the camera cover with a plastic opening tool.
Carefully slide the plastic opening tool across the bottom edge to free it from the adhesive.
Continue to use the heat gun as needed to soften the adhesive as you remove the camera cover.

Insert the plastic opening tool underneath the top edge of the camera cover.

Gently pry the camera cover up as you slide the plastic opening tool across the top edge to free it from the adhesive.
Remove the camera cover.

Remove the six screws securing the rear case to the rest of the phone: three 6.7 mm silver T3 Torx screws at the top, four 4.0 mm gold T3 Torx screws in the middle, and three 4.5 mm black T5 Torx screws at the bottom.

Insert a plastic opening tool between the rear case and the motherboard assembly.

Work your way down the side of the phone and gently pry the rear case up.
Separate the rear case from the motherboard assembly.

Remove the three 2.5 mm T3 Torx screws securing the metal chassis to the motherboard.

Remove the metal chassis from the motherboard assembly.

Use the flat end of a spudger to remove the two red silicone microphone covers at the top and bottom of the motherboard.

There is a small metal shield that covers the display assembly cable connectors on the motherboard. This shield is held in place by a few small clips that attach to the surrounding

EMI shields.
Use the tip of a spudger to gently bend the clips out of shape and remove the shield.

Use the flat end of a spudger to pry the three display cable connectors off their sockets on the motherboard.

There are a number of small black plastic clips on the display assembly that hold the motherboard in place.

Release the securing clips with a plastic opening tool.

Use a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the adhesive strip around the perimeter of the motherboard.

Pry the edges of the motherboard up from the display assembly with a plastic opening tool.
Remove the motherboard assembly.

Lift up the anti-static tape covering the camera and earpiece ZIF connectors with the tip of a spudger.

Peel back the tape and remove it.
Unless you have spare ESD-safe tape lying around, you may consider keeping this piece somewhere safe to be reused at reassembly.

Use a plastic opening tool or your fingernail to lift up the tab on the rear-facing camera ribbon cable ZIF connector.

Make sure you're prying on the tab and not the connector itself.
Push the rear-facing camera through its hole in the grey antenna and remove it.

Use a plastic opening tool or your fingernail to lift up the tab on the front-facing camera ribbon cable ZIF connector.

Make sure you're prying on the tab and not the connector itself.
Lift the front-facing camera out of the antenna with the plastic opening tool and remove it.

Insert a plastic opening tool between the antenna and motherboard near the micro USB and micro HDMI ports and pry the antenna free.

Remove the antenna from the motherboard.

Quick Test Mode:
To enter press Soil, Signal, & Power simultaneously with the power off.
1. All LED’s light up and the washer beeps as it enters the Quick Test Mode.
2. The unit displays the software version.
3. After the displaying the software version, turn Jog dial CCW until version disappears.
Press Spin to test Door Lock/Unlock circuit.
Press Temp Key (with door locked) to cycle through the Water Valves circuit test in this order: Pre, Bleach, Cold Main, Hot, Steam then off.
Press Soil Key to test the Heater
Press Signal Key to test the Pump
Spin Only option:
Power on, Press and hold Spin until display changes.
Press Spin to select spin time.
Press Start/Pause to start cycle, Normal Cycle 10/12 minutes, Heavy Duty Cycle 11/13 minutes, Delicate Cycle 8 minute. Spin speed varies with cycle.
EEPROM Clear Check
Power off, Press Delay Start, Signal and Power Key at the same time. Good = Good Fail = FAIL All memory will be cleared, including Fault Codes This should be done when a new Main PCB is installed
Fabric Softener Dispenser Test:
Start Rinse and Spin Cycle. After fill is completed remove detergent drawer, place towel below opening and within 3 minutes the dispenser will activate
Service Mode:
This mode allows more detailed operation tests and troubleshooting, to enter press Signal & Delay Start simultaneously with the power on.
While in Service Mode (the Service Mode can be entered while the unit is in a wash cycle) the following tests can be performed:
Quick Spin Test = Delay Start & Pre Wash: This accelerates the drum motor from 0 to maximum RPM over a few minutes.
 Press the Start/Pause button during the test to hold its spinning speed up to 10 min. before going back to Quick Spin Test Mode, return to spin with Delay Start & Pre Wash.
Cycle Count = Press the Signal button to see how many times the unit was used
Soft Ware # = Press the Soil Level button to see the software version information
Fault Code Test = Press the Pure Cycle button to view the stored fault codes – then turn Dial to view error codes (Push Start/Pause while the code is displayed to view the number of cycles since the error occurred, push Start/Pause again to get back to faults)
Peripheral (Main PCB) input Tests, enter Service Mode & press Spin key.
1. Turn the Dial so that the Steam LED is turned on. Next, press the Start/Pause
Key. Temperature will be displayed in Fahrenheit .
2. Turn the Dial so that the Cold/Cold LED is turned on. Next, press the Start/Pause Key. The door switch status will be displayed (CL if Closed, OP if Open).
3. Turn the Dial so that the No Spin LED is turned on. Next, press the Start/Pause Key. The door lock Switch status will be displayed (UL if unlocked, LO if locked).
4. Turn the Dial so that the Light LED is turned on. Next, press the Start/Pause Key. The Water Frequency will be displayed.
ERROR CODES CAUSES AND SOLUTION
Water Level Sensor   LE 8   
Check for water to the valves, clogged valve screens, defective valve
solenoid coils. Check the water level / pressure sensor Check for 120VAC to the valve. Motor Drive Error or
Hall Sensor error   3E bE 25 E3
Check the motor drive connector, it may be loose. The hall sensor may be disconnected, loose or damaged . Check for a foreign object inside the motor or motor damage. The stator might be loose or damaged. The drum might be overloaded from too many clothes or the relay or PCB might be defective
Water Supply Error nF 3   
Check the water valve wiring harness.
Check whether the water supply valve is clogged with foreign material and whether water is supplied properly.
Check for reversed fill hoses
Check water temperature, if sensed as higher than 50 ˚C in the Wool or Lingerie cycle it will create error.
Check the relays, if they operate correctly replace the Main PCB.

Correct Hot/Cold hose connections

Check for Foreign material entering the pump or hoses.
Check to make sure the wiring harness is connected properly.
Check the water pump terminal .
Check for freezing.
The water level fails to drop below the Reset Water Level within 30 minutes.
Power Error 2E
Make sure to check the operating voltage. (An error occurs when under or over voltage is supplied.) Check whether a plug receptacle is used. When the connecting wires are too small (extension cord use), a momentary low voltage may drop up to 10 V Main PBA fault (sometimes)
Door Error ds(Before operation)
Check the door switch and latch alignment .
Check the latch for damage
Check the wiring harness to the latch.
Check the door switch. Replace if faulty.
Check the main PBA door sensing circuit. Replace if faulty.
Finally verify the operation of the Main PCB

Nexus 7 – How to replace the battery - Nexus 7 Smart phone

BATTERY REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE 
Gently insert a plastic opening tool near the top of the Nexus 7 between the rear panel and the front panel assembly.
Carefully run the plastic opening tool along the top edge to pry the rear panel away from the front panel assembly of the Nexus 7.
Insert the plastic opening tool between the rear panel and the front panel assembly near the power button and pry up at several points along the right edge of the Nexus 7.
Pry up the rear panel along the left edge using the method described in previous steps.
Gently lift and remove the rear panel up off the front panel assembly.
Using the tip of a spudger, push first on one side then the other to "walk" the battery cable straight out of its socket on the motherboard.
Wedge the flat end of a spudger in between the battery and the front panel assembly.
Run the flat end of a spudger along the top edge of the battery to separate it from the adhesive securing it to the front panel assembly.
Do not excessively bend the battery connector board. Be especially careful when prying up around the top left edge of the battery.
Wedge the flat end of a spudger between the bottom right corner of the battery and the front panel assembly.
Carefully run the spudger along the bottom edge of the battery while slowly lifting the battery to completely separate it from the adhesive securing it to the front panel assembly.
Grasp the lower right corner of the battery and rotate it upwards to remove it from the front panel assembly.
If you encounter any resistance from the remaining adhesive, simply use the flat end of a spudger to remove the excess adhesive.

Replacing the Lamp
Lamp replacement period
It is time to replace the lamp when:
The following message is displayed.
"Time to replace the lamp.”
How to replace the lamp
The lamp can be replaced even when the projector is suspended from a ceiling.
1.After you turn off the projector's power and the confirmation buzzer beeps twice, disconnect the power cable.
2.Wait until the lamp has sufficiently cooled down, and then remove the lamp cover at the top of the projector.
Loosen the Lamp cover fixing screw with the screwdriver supplied with the new lamp unit or a Phillips screwdriver. Then slide the lamp cover straight forward and lift it to remove.
3. Loosen the two lamp fixing screws.
4. Take out the old Lamp by pulling the handle
5. Install the new lamp.
Insert the new Lamp along the guide rail in the correct direction so that it fits in place, push in firmly, and once it is fully inserted tighten the two screws.
6. Replace the lamp cover.
Resetting the lamp hours
The projector records how long the lamp is turned on and a message and indicator notify you when it is time to replace the lamp. After replacing the lamp, make sure you reset the Lamp Hours from the Reset menu.
Replacing the Air Filter

If the message is displayed frequently even though the air filter has been
cleaned, replace the air filter.
How to replace the air filter
The air filter can be replaced even when the projector is suspended from a ceiling.

2. Open the air filter cover
3. Remove the air filter.
Grip the air filter cover tab and pull it straight out.
4. Install the new air filter.
Slide the air filter from the outside and press in until it firmly clicks into place.
5. Close the air filter cover.
