SERVICE
MENU
The
service menu contains items not ordinarily needed by the user. Use these as
necessary during service.
How to enter to service mode
(1) No menu shown.
(2) Press the UP button.
(3) Within press the DOWN button.
(4) Within press the RIGHT button.
(5) Within press the LEFT button.
(6) Within press the [ENTER] button to display the service menu.
NOTE:
When the Service Menu Screen is not displayed, go back to the beginning. It is recommended that you press the buttons a little earlier and steadily.
How to exit service mode
Press the [MENU] button to exit the menu indication.

Basic
operation in service mode
Use the following buttons to operate the service menu.
(1) Choose the SETTING MENU with the UP/DOWN button.
(2) When the RIGHT button is pressed after choosing the SETTING MENU, the cursor will shift to the SETTING / ADJUSTMENT ITEMS of each SETTING MENU.
(3) When the cursor is shifted, choose the SETTING / ADJUSTMENT ITEMS with the UP/DOWN button.
(4) Using the LEFT/RIGHT button, change the setup values and adjustment values, respectively.
(5) When the [EXIT] button is pressed, the cursor will return to the SETTING MENU.
(6) When the [MENU] button is pressed, the SERVICE MENU will go out of the screen.
NOTE:
The SERVICE MENU will go out of the screen automatically after 10 seconds if you do not press the [MENU] button.

Note
:
Perform this operation during standby mode.
(1) Run HD1_LAMP_Copy.exe and start HD1_LAMP_Copy.
(2) From the COM Port, select the PC COM number being used.
(3) Extract the log using the Receive button and save it as a text file.
(4) After replacing the PROCESSOR PWB, select a file with the extension rmd and click the Transmit button.
(5) The backup Color temperature, Pixel shift and Lamp time will be rewritten.
Perform this operation during standby mode.
(1) Run HD1_LAMP_Copy.exe and start HD1_LAMP_Copy.
(2) From the COM Port, select the PC COM number being used.
(3) Extract the log using the Receive button and save it as a text file.
(4) After replacing the PROCESSOR PWB, select a file with the extension rmd and click the Transmit button.
(5) The backup Color temperature, Pixel shift and Lamp time will be rewritten.
ADJUSTMENT
(1) Set CL-200 approximately in the center of the image, facing the projector.
(2) Input 50% white in the HDMI terminal from the signal generator.
(3) From the setting menu, set Image Profile to “Natural” and Gamma to “NORMAL”.
(4) Set lens shift position to mechanical center.
(5) From the Image Quality menu, set Contrast, Brightness and Offset to “0”.
(6) From the Service menu, set <Adjust>to <Color temperature>.
(7) Adjust the color temperature such that “Low” and “Medium” have the following settings. Use Blue to adjust color temperature and Green to adjust the deviation. For red, do not adjust. Low: Color temperature 6000 ± 50, Deviation 0 ± 0.05 Medium: Color temperature 6600 ± 50, Deviation 0 ± 0.05.

SHIFT
(1) From Service menu, select the adjustment pattern of the color cross-hatch.
(2) From the Service menu, set <Adjust>to <Pixel Shift>.
(3) Adjust [H Pixel Adj.R], [H Pixel Adj.G], [H Pixel Adj.B] to make H direction (Pixel Shift) to become the best point.
(4) Adjust [V Pixel Adj.R], [V Pixel Adj.G], [V Pixel Adj.B] to make V direction (Pixel Shift) to become the best point.
(1) From Service menu, select the adjustment pattern of the color cross-hatch.
(2) From the Service menu, set <Adjust>to <Pixel Shift>.
(3) Adjust [H Pixel Adj.R], [H Pixel Adj.G], [H Pixel Adj.B] to make H direction (Pixel Shift) to become the best point.

(1) Run Region Writer.exe and start Region Writer.
(2) From the COM Port on the top left of the screen, select the PC COM number being used.
(3) From the US/JAPAN/EU/CHINA buttons in the center of the screen, click the destination button for the set to be written.
(4) Writing is successful if [OK] appears on the top right of the screen.
Perform this operation during standby mode.
ADJUSTMENT
(1) Run Region Writer.exe and start Region Writer.
(2) From the COM Port on the top left of the screen, select the PC COM number being used.
(3) From the US/JAPAN/EU/CHINA buttons in the center of the screen, click the destination button for the set to be written.
(4) Writing is successful if [OK] appears on the top right of the screen.

(INDICATOR) WARNING INDICATIONS
Led indication contents
If an abnormality occurs during operation (projection), the content of the problem can be determined from flashing LED indicators. When an LED indicates, operation (projection) automatically stops and the cool-down mode (about 60 seconds) is entered then the stand-by mode.

By using the special setting and adjustment software, data related to abnormal operation (history) stored in the projector can be load. On the basis of contents "LED (INDICATOR) WARNING INDICATONS" set and lamp use time, internal and external temperature, and other data prior to the previous usage time can be viewed as a table.
HOW TO LOAD THE DATA FROM UNIT
(1) Install the software in a personal computer and connect by RS-232C IN terminal (use cross cable).
(2) Set the projector to stand-by mode.
(3) Start the setting and adjustment software.
(4) Click the [Receive] button and save the TEXT file. Data become the latest data so as to go below.
(5) The first number is error code.
(6) Click the [Reset] button and delete all data stored in projector.
