Apple AirPort Extreme – Disassembling procedure – How to replace the backup Battery

Disassembling procedure - Outer Case
First start by peeling off the outer rubbery covering on the bottom of the device.
CAUTION: This part is very fragile, so it is recommended that a blow dryer is used on the covering to heat it up. Simply blow dry the covering while slowly peeling it away, and the covering will not tear.
After removing the rubber covering, unscrew the five 4.9mm Phillips screws in the holes of the plastic casing.
After unscrewing all five screws, remove the plastic casing. The back should now look like the picture shown.
The inner metal casing is latched inside the outer white plastic shell, so insert a pry tool underneath the metal casing and pry it apart from the shell. It should make a click when it comes apart.
Remove the outer casing. The exposed logic board should look like this.
Remove the metal casing by gently prying the logic board away with you hands.
This should be pretty easy; you already removed the screws holding these pieces together.
Remove the battery by gently "shoving" it out with the plastic tool.

Hitachi LS42S504 LCD TV – How to enter the service mode, software update, 715G3196 1B poawer board[SMPS] schematic.

This specification applies to the 42.0 inch Color TFT-LCD Module T420HW06 V5. This LCD module has a TFT active matrix type liquid crystal panel 1,920x1,080 pixels, and diagonal size of 42.0 inch. This module supports 1,920x1,080 mode. Each pixel is divided into Red, Green and Blue sub-pixels or dots which are arranged in vertical stripes. Gray scale or the brightness of the sub-pixel color is determined with a 8-bit gray scale signal and Frame Rate Control (FRC) for each dot.
The T420HW06 V5 has been designed to apply the 10-bit 2 channel LVDS interface method. It is intended to support displays where high brightness, wide viewing angle, high color saturation, and high color depth are very important.
Firmware Upgrade
Use PC to write software to a flash storage, press “on” button to start the TV. (Take L46S603 for example)
1. Insert the flash storage into the USB port, and you will see a picture in which you can choose “YES” or “NO” (Picture1), you choose “YES”, and then the software will update automatically.
2. After software update is finished, you put out the flash storage and restart the TV.
3. Press “menu+1999+select”, check whether software version is ok.

6. Use the item R Gain and B Gain to adjust white balance: use 100 IRE (Pattern 105) signal, and adjust the white balance, until the Ca210 show x =272, y =278.
7. Adjust item “ZR-Contrast” to check color temperature is saturation or not: Add by 7 steps and then to adjust the item R Gain and item B Gain to check the color temperature is saturation or not, until is saturation.
8. Enter the item “Color Temp” to select another color temperature to adjust.
Adjust Normal temperature:
1. Set the pattern generator to pattern 104 or 0 IRE pattern. Adjust the Item “ZR-Bright” value and can adjust to min luminance
2. Switch the Ca210 to T
uvLv-mode (with press “MODE” button)
3. Switch the Ca210 channel to Channel 05 (with up or down “MEMORY CH” button)
4. The LCD-indicator on Ca210 will show T=9300K.
5. Adjust the Color Temp item: Normal, until Ca210 indicator reached the value T=9300k.
Adjust Warm color-temperature:
1. Set the pattern generator to pattern 104 or 0 IRE pattern. Adjust the Item “ZR-Bright” value and can adjust to min luminance
2. Switch the Ca210 to TuvLv-mode (with press “MODE” button)
3. Switch the Ca210 channel to Channel 05 (with up or down “MEMORY CH” button)
4. The LCD-indicator on Ca210 will show T=6500K.
5. Adjust the Color Temp item: Warm, until Ca210 indicator reached the value T=6500k.
Press “Exit” button on remote control to quit from factory mode.
NOTE 1
If you choose to do EEPROM Initialization (EEPROM Init), you MUST write down all White Balance values before doing so. These values will be reset to a default value.
All white balance factory adjustments will be LOST. It can be done as a NOTE anywhere in same page, please.
NOTE 2
Activating Reset to Default Settings (Reset to Def) will zero BOTH hour counters, the one for back light time and the one for Total time.

Bose Lifestyle 135 Bass Module Disassembly Procedures

Bose Lifestyle 135: disassembling procedure
1. Rear Cover Removal
1.1 Remove the four screws securing the rear cover.
Note: When replacing the rear cover, tighten the screws to ensure the cover aligns properly.
1.2 Lay the bass module on its’ right side. Rotate the rear cover to gain access to the AC wire harness. Disconnect the AC wire harness from the power supply PCB.
2. I/O PCB Removal
2.1 Perform procedure 1 first
2.2 Slightly rotate the cover to gain access to the AC wire harness. Disconnect the AC wire harness.
2.3 Use a U.FL extraction tool, such as Hirose part number U.FL-LP-N-2(01), to disconnect the antenna’s U.FL connector.– Antenna Cable .Use care when removing antenna’s U.FL connector to avoid damaging the connector.
Note: When replacing the I/O PCB, use care not to damage the antenna’s U.FL connector when reconnecting. Press gently straight down to insert the U.FL connector. Excessive or angled pressure will damage the connector. When properly installed, the antenna cable will rotate freely about the connector. Do not rotate more than 1/8th of a turn to avoid damaging the connector.
2.4 With the cover laying flat on the bench, remove the two screws securing the connector cover. Lift off the connector cover.
Important Note: To reduce stress on the U.FL connector, the connector cover should be in place before connecting the antenna cable’s U.FL connector. Be sure to leave enough cable length so the cable can be easily attached to the U.FL connector without stressing the connector.
Note: When replacing the connector cover, ensure the antenna cable is properly dressed under the groove in the connector cover.
2.5 Remove the ribbon cable.
2.6 Remove the screw securing the I/O PCB. Lift out the I/O PCB.
3. Power Supply PCB Removal
3.1 Perform Procedure 1, 2.3, and 2.4 first
3.2 Remove the two screws securing the heat sink. Lift out the heat sink.
Note: When replacing the heat sink, ensure the ribbon cable is routed under the heat sink.
3.3 Remove the six screws securing the power supply shield and PCB. Lift off the power supply shield and PCB.
Note: 1. When installing the power supply PCB, ensure the thermal pad is located over U1001 and L1001. If the thermal pad is moved, it should be replaced because the compressed areas on the thermal pad will no longer align with the heat sink. It is important that there is good thermal contact between the thermal pad and heat sink.
2. When replacing the shield, ensure the conductive pad.
3. When replacing the shield, first secure the two screws and ensure proper alignment of the shield.
